This number consists of two parts. The first part (p. 187-323) contains Proceedings of the Sixth Ukrainian-Polish and Second East-European Meeting on Ferroelectrics Physics (September 6-10, 2002, Uzhgorod-Synjak, Ukraine). The second part (p. 325-362) includes 3 regular papers.

We have the pleasure to inform our contributors and readers that "Condensed Matter Physics" has been approved for recognized Journal status by the European Physical Society. On this occasion, we congratulate the members of the Editorial Board and the Office staff of the journal and we wish them a further fruitful work.
