Title: Editorial

Dear colleagues — our authors and readers,

This year we mark two anniversaries, both being extremely relevant to our journal. The first one is the 100-year anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine — our patron organization, whereas the second one is the 25-year anniversary of our journal itself. During this uneasy time for Ukrainian science, it continues to aim at high standards and we hope that our publishing activity also provides a small contribution towards this standing.

The impact factor of our journal in 2016 reached the index of 0.882 and we are using this occasion to thank our authors for publishing their research with us as well as our readers for citing the research papers. It is our great pleasure to mention the research papers published in Condensed Matter Physics and most cited in 2017:

  • Ivaneyko D., Toshchevikov V., Saphiannikova M., Heinrich D., Effects of Particle Distribution on Mechanical Properties of Magneto-Sensitive Elastomers in a Homogeneous Magnetic Field, Condens. Matter Phys., 2012, 15, No. 3, 33601, doi:10.5488/CMP.15.33601;

Our editorial plan for the year 2018 is to publish three regular issues and a Festschrift on the occasion of the 80-th birthday of Prof. Ihor Stasyuk.
