Conference Venue

Lviv is the major city and cultural centre of Western Ukraine. Today with 700,000 inhabitants, Lviv offers a picturesque historic centre and fine art collections.

It is located in the pre-Carpathian region just 70 km from the Ukrainian-Polish border. Convenient ways to reach Lviv are by plane from Warsaw, Vienna, Munich, Athens, Istanbul, Timisoara, Dortmund, Venice/Treviso, Moscow and Kyiv or by train from Budapest, Wroclaw, Krakow, Moscow, and Kyiv.

Conference Site

The Conference will be held in the Conference Hall of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.


Citizens of EU, USA, Canada, Japan, and countries of former Soviet Union (except Turkmenistan) can visit Ukraine without visas. However, please contact your embassy or consulate for the most up-to-date information.


Lviv is directly accessible via Lviv International Airport (LWO) or Lviv Railway Station. You can fly to Lviv International Airport via Vienna, Warsaw, Munich, Frankfurt, Rome, Madrid, Kyiv, Moscow, and other European cities.
