How to use the ICMP Preprints Online

Both abstracts and full texts are available.

Abstracts are shown to the reader once the abs link is chosen in the list of preprints for the selected year.

Full texts in the LaTeX, PostScript and PDF formats are available for downloading once the src or ps or pdf link is chosen, respectively.

Files are compressed with gzip utility (.gz extension) and the reader should uncompress them with gzip -d filename.gz or gzip -da filename.gz command. Multipart files (.tar.gz or .tgz extension) are first packed with tar utility, so the reader should unpack them after the uncompression with the tar -xvf filename.tar command.

The DOS users can download gzip and tar utilities from our server.

If you do not have a PostScript printer you can view PostScript files and print them using the GhostScript utility. It is convenient to use Ghostview or GSview shells for GhostScript.

Notes for Contributors

Any paper concerning modern problems of condensed matter theory which was prepared in the Institute for Condensed Matter Physics or reported on the seminar of the Institute and recommended for publication by the Scientific Council of the Institute can be submitted for publication.

Requirements for technical design

An article in English or Ukrainian should be prepared in LaTeX format using the special style format icmpprep.sty. You can download the Ukrainian or English versions of the style files, as well as a sample preprint.tex file from our server. Text in Ukrainian can be typed using DOS (cp866nav), Windows (cp1251), or koi8-u encodings. Author's original of the article (including all files requested) is to be sent by e-mail or given on disk to the technical staff ().

All figures should be inserted in their places in the text. Any picture format compatible with dvips is accepted. Use at least 300 DPI resolution for bitmapped pictures.
